Fall is here and so are my fall workshops. I'm packing up my suitcases, I'm almost ready to roll.

I'll be teaching three classes at the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza. Here's a link to my list of classes at the show.

And then in October, at the MQX Quilt Festival in Portland:

And then in November, at the Hudson River Valley Art Workshops

Here are some of the quilts made by the women taking my classes in Taupo New Zealand this July at the quilt Symposium:

Jo's quilt. I was very lucky to have Jo in class, what a nice person.

Aren't Marie's color choices delicious? She was very nice too.

I loved Lee's color choices too. Fall colors are often my favorites. Lee was very nice to me too.

Catherine did a nice calm version, I love it. And her too.

This color scheme reminds me of Gypsy wheels. Lorraine came all the way from Australia for the symposium. Another nice person. (Are you seeing the pattern here?)

Jennifer's quilt. I'm sorry I'm not putting last names on these, I am zooming in on everyone's name tags and the last name font is just too small! In any case, isn't this an awesome quilt? And Jennifer was not bad either.

Mary was the enabler for the trip to see Mr. Wright. I "helped" her pick out the fabric (while piling bolts of batik on the class Angel).

Isn't this center lovely, and the next picture has all the other parts.

It looks almost like a quilt salad, with red tomato slices and green gears...

Tracey did a great job and her hand dyed fabrics are really good. It was nice getting to know her. Also met her Mom who is very proud of all the great stuff she does.

Diana! Nice Job!!! This is my favorite color scheme lately.

Christine! Love the colors and the gear in the center.

I think this is Jill's. I love love love the dots.

Another fine example.

Tanya? Isn't the sun shape cool?

I love the spirals against the purple. Peggy made it really interesting.

I was so busy taking the picture, I forgot to get the quilter's nametag. I love the colors.

  1. Dear Robbi, amazing quilts, I have never seen quilts with patterns and colors like this. Is this a special way to make quilts in New Zeeland?

Maybe this is the time to get going and make some amazing last minute quilts myself as well :-)
